September: 'Red Deer Rut'
Come and experience one of the highlights of the wildlife-watching calendar as would be Monachs of the Glen clash on the misty mornings over heather clad hills.
October: 'Greylag Gathering'
Witness the wondrous wildfowl herald the start of the winter, as 1500 Greylag Geese come to roost on Loch Garten and up to 10,000 Wigeon descend on Nigg Bay.
November: 'Snow Business'
There's no business like snow business as anyone watching the beautiful Snow Bunting returning for a brief sojourn on the Cairngorm Massif will no doubt agree.
December: 'Meet the Reindeer'
Christmas would not be Christmas without Reindeer, and you can meet, learn about and even hand-feed the Cairngorm Mountain's very own Reindeer herd, as they pay a visit from the snowy slopes.
January: 'Winter White'
Experience the sheer majesty of the Cairngorms in winter, as even the most enigmatic and resilient of grouse, the Ptarmigan, is forced to descend to lower altitudes, allowing us to glimpse its stunning winter plumage.
February: 'Feeling Blue?'
Scan the scree-slopes of Glenlivet and the sublime Findhorn Valley for the mountain or "blue" hares scurrying in their winter finery as hungry raptors haunt the skyline looking for the next meal.
