Guided Trips in Scotland

This is a list of Guided Trips that are available in the Cairngorms and North East of Scotland area.  Some trips are very popular, so we advise booking ahead where possible.  Trips can be booked directly with each organiser, but do mention BWWC when booking:

Guided Safaris

Glenlivet Wildlife Safaris

Location: Glenlivet Crown Estate (BWWC Map Site 22).   
A range of Land Rover safaris run throughout the year, focusing on different wildlife as the seasons change. Dates: Normally Thursdays and Sundays.
Cost: £30pp – approx. 3½ hour trip.

Rothiemurchus Safaris

Location: Rothiemurchus Estate (near BWWC Map Site 16). 
Rothiemurchus Experience Safari – join a Ranger to learn about life on the estate (£30pp – approx. 3 hour trip). Highland Lady Safari – step back in time to estate life in the early 1800s (£20pp – approx. 2 hour trip).  
Dates: Dependant on season but numerous times per week.

Wild Caledonia

Location: All over the Highlands/Cairngorms National Park.
Full day wildlife watching safaris, focusing on the species you’d like to see with pick-up available.
Cost £75pp per day for 3/4 people. £50pp per day for 5/6 people (min.3 people, max. 6 people).

Speyside Wildlife

Location: All around Cairngorms National Park.
A day of Wildlife watching tailored to what you’d like to see with pick-up available.

Location: All over the Highlands/Cairngorms National Park.

Deeside Nature Activities

Location: Primarily Deeside but trips elsewhere including Speyside available.
Half or full day tailor-made safaris (Deeside is the much under-rated wildlife watching location in the Cairngorms National Park) with pick-up available.

Birding Ecosse

Location: Throughout the Highlands and Moray Firth.
Half or full day guided birdwatching tours with pick-up available. 
Cost: varies based on the itinerary and species you would like to see, please contact us for a free quote (max.3 people – larger groups can be guided using own transport).

Evening Hide Watches

Speyside Wildlife

Location: Rothiemurchus Estate (near BWWC Map Site 16). An evening in a comfortable hide looking for Badger, Pine Marten and other evening wildlife, such as Badger and Red Deer.
